EAST TEXAS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT

The East Texas Economic Development District (ETEDD) strives to promote economic development and job creation throughout the fourteen county region of East Texas. ETEDD coordinates with economic development entities to assist communities, cities, and counties in the region with reaching their economic goals through tourism, planning, and development.

OUR DISTRICT

The ETEDD is administered by the East Texas Council of Governments (ETCOG). Our program district is the 14-county region served

by ETCOG including Anderson, Camp, Cherokee, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Marion, Panola, Rains, Rusk, Smith,

Upshur, Van Zandt, and Wood counties. 


What we do?

Partnership planning

We work directly with EDA to administer the Economic Development Partnership Planning program for East Texas.

Grant research, assistance & administration

We can research, write, and provide post-grant administration for economic development grants for which you may qualify. 

Strategic planning

We are actively involved with shaping the strategic direction of economic development in our region. Partner with us!
